Cartridge hydraulic filters feature high performance synthetic filtering media that traps more contaminants and lasts two to three times longer than traditional filtering media. It has a lower pressure drop that protects the machine's hydraulic components, even when hydraulic fluid is cold. Bobcat recommends that you replace the o-rings on the cap with every filter change. The seals come with this filter.
Attention: Due to engineering standards, Bobcat changed the hydraulic oil filter with a straight neck to a new style filter with an angled neck. The filter with a straight neck was part number 7248874. If this is the first time you are replacing 7248874, the old hydraulic oil cap will not fit this new filter.You will need to order a new Hydraulic Oil Canister Cap,  7496373 (in related parts below.)Â
If you have already replaced the cap, Bobcat recommends that you replace the o-rings on the cap with every filter change. The seals come with this filter.Â
Due to engineering standards, some parts are updated or changed and are assigned a new part number. Previous part number was 7248874 and 7349795 (without o-rings). This part is the direct replacement.
Filters will vary depending on your machine's type of engine. Please check the Online Parts Catalog to ensure the correct part for your machine.

How to Use ‘Saved Equipment’
Without signing in, you can save one machine by clicking ‘Add Equipment’ at the top of the page. Once you create an account or sign in, you can save and edit multiple models and serial numbers by clicking ‘Add Equipment’. Click on any of your saved machines and click ‘Apply’ to see the compatible products for your serial number. If you want to look at all products without any serial number applied, you can click on the green slider at the top of the page to view all products.
Where I Can Find My Saved Equipment
Your equipment information will always be at your fingertips every time you sign in. Your active machine will be visible at the top of the page by the search bar. Once you sign in, you will see all of your saved equipment. Click on your active equipment at the top of the page. A window opens showing all your saved equipment. Select the machine that needs new parts, accessories, or attachments, and click ‘Apply’.
